Solar Panels for Industrial Buildings — Mandatory from 31/12/2026
From 31/12/2026 new non-residential buildings over 250 m² must include solar energy (EU Directive 2024/1275). Turnkey design, installation and legalisation on the Costa del Sol.
Under EU Directive 2024/1275, by 31 December 2026 new public and non-residential buildings with over 250 m² of useful floor area must include solar installations where technically and economically feasible; from 31 December 2027 also existing non-residential buildings over 500 m² that are renovated. Spain applies it through the new CTE DB-HE 6 (being approved). Bilotex delivers turnkey design, installation and legalisation on the Costa del Sol.
How we install solar on industrial buildings
- Building survey: We check floor area, use, roof, shading, structure and consumption to see whether the building falls under the obligation.
- Design: We size the power, inverters and protections and prepare the permit documents.
- Installation: We install mounting, panels, inverters and switchboards in phases without stopping operations.
- Legalisation and commissioning: Installation certificate, self-consumption registration, grid operator paperwork and monitoring switched on.
